Theodore K. Furber

        Ted is a native of Minneapolis and received a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College in Business Administration and a J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. Ted also holds a Masters of Comparative Law from the University of Chicago and an Advanced Degree in German Civil Law from the Universität Muenster (Germany). Ted has practiced in the area of corporate and international commercial law throughout his career. He first worked as in-house counsel for U.S. Steel Corporation, Boise Cascade Corporation and Libbey-Owens-Ford Company. Ted then entered the private practice in Minneapolis in 1981. His law work has emphasized the special legal needs of entrepreneurs and emerging businesses in both U.S. and international environments. Ted is very active in entrepreneur support organizations and was the founder or co-founder of the Minnesota Entrepreneurs, Inc., the State of Entrepreneurship series of conferences and the German American Business Roundtable. He is a former director of the Minnesota World Trade Center and former President of the Minnesota International Center. Ted speaks fluent German and is a former captain in the United States Marine Corps.

        Steve is a native of Iowa and received a Bachelor of Science in economics and government from the Honors Program at Iowa State University, and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. Steve's practice has emphasized corporate and commercial law, international trade and investment, resolution of commercial disputes, intellectual property and customs law. Steve has been a frequent seminar participant and lecturer in international trade and investment. In 1987-1988, Steve served as President of the Minnesota World Trade Association. He served as the Chair of the International Business Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association during 1985 - 1986; and has served as a member of the Council of that Section for many years. Steve is a member of the Bar of the Court of International Trade and the Bar of the Tax Court. Steve is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota, American and Customs and International Trade Bar Associations.

        Roger is from New Ulm, Minnesota. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and a J.D. with honors from William Mitchell College of Law. His law practice has focused on representation of small to medium sized businesses on a wide variety of matters with emphasis on corporate transactions and commercial real estate. In addition, Roger has had a great deal of experience as an entrepreneur in a number of businesses and as a real estate developer.
