The Firm's interests in entrepreneurship has a long history. The Firm has supported the The Collaborative as a sponsor involving both financial contributions and educational services. The Collaborative is a for-profit company in Minneapolis, Minnesota which provides a networking opportunity for entrepreneurs and for their support organizations, including venture capitalists, attorneys, accountants and others. Mr. Furber is a co-founder and former President of Minnesota Entrepreneurs, Inc. (formerly "Minnesota Entrepreneurs Club") which, since 1982, has provided a safe haven and place of inspiration for entrepreneurs on a monthly basis. Mr. Furber was also the founder and chairman of the "State of Minnesota State of Entrepreneurship" series of conferences in the 1990s. Mr. Zahn has served as a director and president of Minnesota Entrepreneurs, Inc. and was instrumental in bringing about the change from a "club" to a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization in 1998.

1. The Firm can make introductions to venture capital companies, "angels," banks and other investor individuals and organizations interested in the success of budding entrepreneurs and emerging companies.
2. The Firm can provide advice respecting business plans and business strategy based upon experience gained from years of working with entrepreneurs in many different industries. This can include referral to individuals and organizations which specialize in business consulting and preparation of business plans.
3. Personal contacts at the Minnesota Trade Office to assist entrepreneurs wishing to engage in export activities foreign direct investment, either though acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution or licensing.
4. Referral to SCORE, the Senior Corps of Retired Executives who assist entrepreneurs on a one-on-one basis.
